We raise hedgehogs as pets because they bring an interesting new perspective on the word pet.  Hedgehogs are animals that enjoy being alone and usually should be kept separated.  They require regular exercise, a hiding place, and food/water.  Hedgehogs are enjoyable animals and belong to those that are willing to take the time to research what kind of pet they are purchasing.  Our hedgehogs have two homes: one pair lives here in Viborg, while the other pair lives with my brother and sister-in-law in the Minneapolis, MN area.
